Very pleased.with the service call and system check by Scotty! Very courteous and attentive. He took time to speak regarding system operation and potentially more efficient ways of operation of the heat pump in concert with our propane fireplace. He performed a complete check for system proper operation and now we a ready for spring and summer!

I can’t thank this group of people enough for all they’ve done for us this past month. They went above and beyond to fix an older unit that works great but has need for replacement parts.They must have spent countless hours finding them and then installing them for us so as not to have to replace the entire unit. James Thomas Heating and Cooling is such a wonderful professional company. It is by far the superior HVAC company in the area, is still family owned and operated and is super service oriented. We just had a motor go out in our outside unit and they had one of their lead technicians, Scottie, repair the unit even with very slippery mountain roads to contend with. We are back toasty warm in the cabin. I give James Thomas my highest level of referral.

Phenomenal experience!!! I called with a very last minute issue with our gas logs at our rental property. I live two hours away and was scrambling, but James Thomas Heating & Cooling really came through for us. They were quick, efficient, and the cost was extremely fair. I specifically want to mention Ms. Tina and her kindness in walking me through my options. Highly recommend!

I have personally use James Thomas heating and air Over the past few years, they always respond the same day and can usually come out to fix a problem the same day or within a day or so. Always professional and courteous, and they will take care of your heating and air needs the same as if they were doing it for their own family.

UPDATE 11-15-24: my Honeywell touch pad thermostat fizzled out, bought a new one from Home Depot, but the upgraded model had a different mounting plate, so took old off, new one , hooked up wires exactly the same! No worky, Robert Hoss from James Thomas came out…. Problem was. I didn’t know you had to program the settings for Forced Air or Heat Pump! Robert had me up and running in less than 2 minutes! Rob fixed my heater last year at Christmas when the heater quit working at 19 degree freeze! Didn’t want a repeat of last year! ALL the employees at John Thomas are great, but Rob’s been to my house multiple times working on my 20+ yr HVAC system, it’s like having the same doctor for a while that knows your physiology!

I’m really impressed with Robert Hoss, always treats me fairly, tries to save me money if he can… James Thomas heating and air is more than a local business, they all treat you like family.

We have a maintenance contract and just had the fall tune-up. Outside heat pump cleaned and downstairs unit checked and cleaned. Great job!
