Upon arrival, the Lennox heat pump was identified as locked out due to low pressure, a common issue often caused by a dirty filter. A thorough inspection revealed that the filter was indeed excessively dirty, restricting airflow and causing the pressure drop. The old, clogged filter was carefully removed and replaced with a new, clean one. This simple yet crucial step restored proper airflow, allowing the heat pump to operate at optimal pressure levels. Post-replacement, the system was tested to ensure it was functioning correctly and efficiently. The customer was informed about the importance of regular filter maintenance to prevent future lockouts and ensure the longevity of the heat pump.
